Robert Budgell

Robert Budgell is a partner of the firm and a member of the civil litigation practice group.

Robert has delivered papers and made presentations to members of the insurance industry and individuals and professionals active in the field of personal injury law. He has authored an article dealing with insurance coverage issues which was published in the Canadian Lawyers Weekly. He has also chaired a presentation on Media and the Law for the Advocates Society.

Personal Injury Litigation

Robert is principally involved with personal injury and wrongful death litigation, dealing with motor vehicle accidents, occupier’s liability, product liability, property loss, business interruption, commercial general liability matters and general negligence.

Civil Litigation Experience

Robert has represented individuals and institutions at all levels of the Ontario judicial system, and has also advocated on behalf of his clients before the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board and the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. In addition, he has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
